Location & Parking

The Mason Law Library is on the flagship campus, on the Lower Level (LL) of Building 52. Our address is 4340 Connecticut Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20008

Parking is available on the streets nearby and in the underground UDC Parking Garage, entrance on Van Ness St. N.W. Guests/Visitors will be subject to paying the daily parking rates.

  • Drive into the Van Ness Parking Garage from Van Ness St. ONLY and collect a ticket at the entrance.

  • Keep your ticket in your possession after parking your car.

  • When you wish to exit the garage, go to a Pay Station at either the Plaza Deck Elevator Lobby on the Breezeway OR the B level garage near the Auditorium.

  • Insert ticket into the Pay Station and pay the displayed amount. (Credit/Debit cards ONLY).

Public Access Notice

The Mason Law Library serves the education and research needs of its students, faculty, staff, and members of the public. Community library users with research needs may use the library's physical space, wireless internet, and print collection. Members of the public do not generally have access to UDC Law Library databases. Community members are welcome to visit the library from 9am-7pm, Monday through Thursday. In order to visit the library, members of the public must reserve a day and time 24 hours in advance by calling 202-274-7310 or emailing lawlibraryhelp@udc.edu. Please note, public hours may change during holidays and exam periods.
