Accessing Blackboard

To log in to Blackboard, go to and enter your campus email account username (without and password or log in to and access Blackboard from the Launchpad section of the Welcome page.Image result for blackboard app logo

Blackboard also now has an app you can use to access class materials, including recordings, on your mobile device. A quick start guide is available online here.

Once you are logged in, look under the “My Courses” section to find a list of all your available course sites.

UDC's Center for the Advancement of Learning (CAL) has created a series of modules to provide students a comprehensive orientation to Blackboard. Blackboard also has tutorials available for students that provide step-by-step instructions for discrete tasks.

If you are a Teaching Assistant who needs access to a course site to post announcements and materials, send messages to students, etc., please ask your faculty member to submit a request to with your full name and UDC email to have you added to the course as a TA.
